HERE I AM is a piece about becoming. It’s not an arrival—it’s a confrontation with arrival. The painting acknowledges the complexity of presence: how hard it is to show up in your life and say, “I exist,” when parts of you still feel unseen or uncertain. There’s a quiet rage underneath it all, but also an act of faith in putting that out into the world.
